CPW (Cost Per Wear)
Can dramatically change your shopping. It is a simple calculation to figure out if a piece is, quite simply, worth the cost. To find take the cost of the item and divide by the estimated times worn per year (for example 2 times a week would be 104) and that is it...you have your CPW for the item.
Set Your Goals
Before embarking on any journey, it is worth the pause a million times over to articulate what exactly you want to achieve. The problem with instant makeovers is that your authentic personal style (discovering what you truly like) is something only you can do for yourself.
Get Organized
The best way to do this is to sort through your closet piece by piece and roll up your sleeves and get started. This will also help you to figure out what you are missing and areas that you need to focus on when you are shopping.
Intentional Wishlist
Make a list of items that you NEED to unlock your wardrobe and define your style that will be a roadmap to help you focus your intentions on the items that will have the most impact on your wardrobe and give you confidence in your purchases and change your purchasing from focusing on your budget to focusing on your wardrobe goals.
